Not so much weekly progress but pretty much the only thing I've been able to attempt to get completed for a good month or so. Blame the family I say!
This was a Antenocitis gift from the missus when I thought I might enjoy Infinity (which, it turns out I did not). These flat packed buildings normally form three similarly sized stackable blocks, and they can be built quite easily.
Unless you're me. I don't know why I think that force is a good way to get these MDF lasercut buildings to go together, but it really doesn't work.
Some bent bits later, I decided to vary them up a bit. Rather than three rectangular buildings, a big square, a small square and a rectangle would work nicely.
The roof is fixed in the smallest building, and the rivets are done.
For the other two, I need to finish the floor on the largest building, before moving onto wall decorations etc. The middle building has got a reversible roof so that it can have the smaller one on top, or have some nice engineering style LOS blockers.
All in all, bit of a rescue from myself, but definitely a fun way to reuse after my mistakes!
Finishing and painting for these guys too.
These were my attempt at a gateway to the mortalis board from the snow table...Need to see how these will look on the larger board, but I might wait till I've got some decent support for that!
